At least if it's crashed in a ditch somewhere the snow/cold temps are likely to keep it from going bad. Haven't you ever heard the saying every cloud has a golden lining?

That actully happened to me once. Place i worked for sent its stuff out via fedwrex for whatever reason. Truck rolled and ended up destroying something like a thousand samples. Seeing as it was a random by the DoT and fedwrex didnt report it for something like 2 weeks it was a whole ordeal to deal with.
