They say the truck driver wasn't hurt, I disagree. Poor bloke will be dealing with that crap for years.

I don't have snow where I am, but we have rain. I imagine the same dumb move in any poor weather is a selfish act of stupidity.

Idiots in cars pulling off dangerous maneuvers in front of or otherwise near a tractor trailer is rampant here in the United States.

Every time I am behind the wheel somebody somewhere displays his or her extreme need to show off their stupidity. Therefore it's no surprise that the law of averages finally catches up with these fine folks.

Lack of patience leads to this sort of fatality wreck... I always viewed driving in traffic as a Zen exercise in patience, and I got into the habit early on of leaving a bit earlier so I wasn't pressed for time. Some morons will risk everything rather than wait a few seconds for a better opportunity...

ducnut, Flat Earth Trucker and mjd4277 Thank this.

Yeah, I even drive 'The Mighty Camry' like I do a truck, riding the gap between packs of vehicles and speeding up or slowing down as necessary to maintain that position. If I wanna get wild, I'll take the bike into the dirt and ride some trails where nobody else is around... whenever my nieces & nephews reached driving age, I told 'em that if they wanted to speed or otherwise get wild behind the wheel, to take it out to the middle of nowhere or take it to the dirt. Nothing wrong with spinning a few donuts or brodies, it'll teach ya better control... ya just don't wanna do it in traffic with cops around, lol.

In this case, they aren’t suing anyone because they’re dead! If anything the truck can sue the deceased’s estate!

I just don't credit those folks with being smart enough to be litigious.

They don’t think that far ahead. I was watching a video the other day and a truck was taking a left turn across an intersection, a guy in a car sped up (it was his dash cam) on purpose and went under the truck nearly killing himself so that he could sue. I wish I could find the video. Look up any truck crash videos on youtube, almost all the comments are “it’s payday!”, “he just got rich!” ect.

There are actually many people dumb enough to nearly kill themselves trying to get paid
