Workers not in harnesses is a big no-go. OSHA will be visiting.

They better hope they had cones around their work area. Otherwise, they won’t be suing the truck driver and his employer.

I worked at a place where a driver did the exact same thing. Thankfully, the worker was harnessed up and didn’t fall to the ground. But, he had no cones, which meant no established work area. The worker lost both his court cases against the driver and company.
