Hey CD188, I am like you except twice your age. I run 125 k/ year out two weeks home 3-5 days. Folks here at FCC leave me alone. I pickup/deliver on time I don't hassle anybody here and they don't hassle me about home time or anything. It's a great culture/partnership here. I hope I can stay here in my 70s. Welcome aboard TO what I call TDR. Trucking Done Right! Welcome to FCC.

Silver Driver texted me. He's fine. He finished a five week trip out so he's tired. Runningman, glad Apex Tools treated you right. I was there before Christmas, and maybe they were in Holiday Mode and goofing, or just shorthanded. It happens.

I forgot to reply to your prior post. I hadn’t heard from him lately either. Glad he texted you and all is well.

Boy it’s a bit breezy in OH & IN today. Thankfully I have 44k in the box but thought I was going to see a trailer in front of me blow over at one point. She was leaning hard and he was weaving.

    Thankfully she stayed upright.

    stay safe

Anyone here going to the Safety Meeting on Saturday? First time I’m actually in Fremont the night before to stick around for it.

Mike called yesterday and said he would be out of the office tomorrow and Monday. He said someone in operations would call me Monday once they arrange for a driver to pick me up to take me to Fremont. I'm really looking forward to starting orientation, mainly just so I can get out of the house for awhile! Feeling like I'm slowly losing my sanity just sitting at home doing nothing!

When you get to orientation and get a company car to take to the hotel try to take the Buick…or maybe it’s an Oldsmobile. Idk something old. Either way that things rad.

You are probably talking about the GREEN MACHINE. (I think all of the company cars are buicks) But, yeah, that green one rides like an old caddy. Especially compared to the silver one... that one rides like a compact car.

I never liked the green one because you can't see what the heat/ac is doing... Lol
