I don't know why, but it didn't cross my mind. The hyvee warehouse is literally just a couple miles up the road from the FXF center. It looks like PDI, the reefer side, has some extra board type positions open. Maybe something I pursue if things don't work out with Kwik Star Monday.

@Hawkeye72 I think you're making a smart call. I've looked into the company a few times and they are my plan B as well. 40% of the profit is returned to employees. Sirius FM, good equipment. Really clean wide open truck stops. Great company Imo.

I'd say we are steady more than anything right now. Pickups have increased a little bit, deliveries are back to what they were in Sept/Oct time frame. Relay seems to be a bit down so it all evens out. Everyone right now is just waiting for the Change of Operations to actually get approved and find out what the hell will happen.

Only time will tell if I'm making the right decision. Fortunately, I'm in a position that I'm financially stable. But I see the writing on the wall. Some pretty drastic route cuts coming on the upcoming bids. If FedEx wants to give me the opportunity to possibly find something better. Without actually putting any real skin in, I think I'd be foolish not too.

I have my road test at ABF tomorrow morning that’s the end pretty much of the hiring process for me at that point. So I’ll let you guys know how it goes.

Things have been kinda hit or miss at Estes. My new meet guy SUCKS BALLS and I hate him. The freight on my run has been pretty consistent. It only usually gets cut because the other end doesn't have anything and to feed extra board, they won't let me run through. It's been weird tho. It seems like since I worked 7 days a few weeks ago they find ways to stop me lol. I've been running recaps for 2 weeks straight until this week. They wouldn't let me work the weekend.

Alright guys I’m in starting at the end of March. I’m officially a road driver for ABF.
I passed my road test and have to give my current job 2 weeks and all that stuff so it's the end of March so that's how it is, but I'm in and have some paper work to fill out this weekend.

I quit the moment I was hired by ABF. Seniority means everything here. I would start tomorrow if I were you.

Is there a LTL company that has good maintenance? For example: that they don’t put their drivers in loaners and stuff like that
