    QUESTION? my husband's CDL got downgraded due to his medical card not being updated. He got it before the expiration date but did not submit to the DMV. Has anyone had this issue before or had to retest/skills again??

    In Texas you can reinstate it just by updating with a new medical card IF his license itself has not expired or been renewed.

    To clarify, your husband had the physical and got the updated card from the doctor before the old one expired, but failed to update the DMV with the new card correct? If so, he needs to get to the closest DPS customer service center asap , in person and get his CDL updated.
