Yes, it’s changed names since I’ve been, think it was Outo Kumpu when I went, could be wrong. Either way, easy to find, massive facility. If I recall, park with the staged empty flatbeds, go in the office, have your info ready, might have to watch a video. Multiple scales, they’ll tell you the procedures for inbound and outbound, and give you a map of the facility to show you where they want you to dump. We were dumping in the very back of the facility, I want to say there are scales back there as well but I could be mistaken. Either way, helpful folks and they’ll point you in the right direction, there’s a pilot not far from there, but if you’re headed north you have a loves in evergreen, J in hope hull, and a few other little stops along the way. If you get a chance, stop at the “yellowhammer” if you’re headed back north on 65, good food, can’t remember the exit number.

Loaded Chicken meal today. Was at shipper for 8 hrs. The staging area is full of trucks. I feel sorry for the last truck. There were only 3 in front of me when I got here. These poor fellers ain't getting outta here till tomorrow morning. An the place reeks. They gotta place where it looks like they're dumping chicken guts. Yummy! All End Dumps welcome here folks.

Haha I just barely peaked my head in. I loaded glass in Cantonment and am taking it to College Park GA. I’m in Montgomery City now waiting for my clock to come around so I can try to keep Atlanta traffic at bay as much as possible in the morning.

I’ve made that run before :). Loaded at the landfill, headed for strategic? Ok place to dump at times, leaning like crazy the rest of the time. I typically use the Roosevelt exit off of 285, make the right off the exit, go to the end of the road make a left, first drive on your right. When you cross the tracks stay left and circle back around to the scales. Typically they dump you to the right of the scales under the big tent. Maybe you’ll head back to tate or talking rock from there? If you need any insight don’t hesitate to ask.

Haha yep that’s exactly where I’m going. When you say the Roosevelt exit, would you happen to be referring to or is it also maybe labeled Washington? And that’s what I’m doin you nailed it again. Loading Tate for Ashland City TN.

Yes, it is Washington, it's a roundabout exit so just follow it to the right, and it dead ends at Roosevelt, turn left, 1st driveway I'm pretty sure you come to will be Strategic, but you'll see it on your right and it's pretty self explanatory. You can come in off the Fulton HWY, but I've been hung up there with the train before and had to turn around because they were making switches, I've found Washington to Roosevelt is the easier of the 2 options. You loop around the backside of the property to get on the scale, don't go to the right after you cross the tracks. As far as Tate, unfortunately really only 1 way to go, 285 to 75 north to 575, watch your speed on 575 GA likes to hit it hard at times.

Got it. Yep I see exactly where you’re talking about and that’s exactly what I’m gonna go. Thanks man I appreciate it. I’m gonna try to get there soon as they open and gtfo, hopefully I can get out ahead of rush hour, but I’m guessing I’m gonna be in the thick of it.
