George, sorry to hear about your mother. Even though it is the circle of life, it still sucks. I lost both my parents years ago, but I still wish I could pick up the phone and have a conversation with them sometime.

Sorry to hear this, George. It sucks, big time. Almost 3 years later, I still miss my daily conversations with mine. Prayers and healing thoughts for you and your family.

Sorry for your loss George. I lost my mother when I was 12. She was 38 when she passed from cancer. I wish everyday that I could speak to her again. Thankfully I made a lot of memories with my Grandmother before she passed in late 2021.

Cherish those memories and moments you make with your loved ones. They make loss just a little bit more bearable.

Ran from Aurora, Nebraska to San Bernardino, California,

    Carson, California to Kearney, Nebraska,

Broken Bow, Nebraska to Four Oaks, Nc

    Henderson, NC to KCMO

Tomorrow I will grab a load off the KCMO yard back to Columbia, SC.

This old fart Is wore the hell out. I’m glad are freight levels are still looking good compared to other drivers I’m talking to. After delivering in Columbia Thursday I will head home for a long weekend.

Finally got my truck back today. Didn't make Omaha and the amber engine light is on again, ugh! This after freightliner charged me a grand to replace the SAMM module, apparently it's only warranted for 100k or 1 year. CB shop Didn't have time to check the code on my way through town, so I'll have to get it checked and cleared later, hopefully it's just something stupid. Hoping to stay outta the shop for awhile, got an oil change, 150K service, new spring bushings, steer tires and that #### module. Even with that light on it sure is good to have the ol girl back, been in a loaner since last Wednesday, have a new appreciation for my truck now lol. Time to make some money now.

My Freightliner experience has been that Amber light is often a regen that didn’t complete, and lasts sometimes a day or two. Hopefully that’s the case for you!

I was getting worried because it was doing some of the same crap as before, the cruise wouldn't work sometimes, but I could shut it off, cycle the key and it would work just like before. But a couple hours into my day this morning the light went off. Hopefully it stays off. The dome light has been reinstalled and is working properly so far. It was like a strobe light before, would just constantly go on and off with no way to control it. It's done that twice, once when it was a company truck, had to take it out both times and leave a wire hanging out of my ceiling until I could get it into the dealer. Hopefully the gremlins are all gone now, sure was glad to have my coffee pot, tv and microwave back... and radio.... and well, everything lol being out of your own truck just screws up everything!!
