Run the overhead. About 1 1/2 hours if it does not have air filters and such bolted on top. Plus gaskets.

 

I worked at a fleet and we did them on a regular schedule. Probably be had to find someone that did not require 1 1/2 hours to find a start point today. Do not mean that wrong and will always take correct over fast.

 

If it’s got jakes that will add 45 minutes or so and then there’s always the possibility of the accessory drive no longer being timed. If they need more than 3 hours they probably weren’t competent to do the job. that being said I agree with boxcar that it’s better to be right than fast.
