Trying to get back to work in retirement again myself. That local job that tanked on me, was kind of a blessing in disguise. Wife had Stage 1 uterine cancer, and had to have surgery, and I've been available to support her. Seems to happen that when I'm unemployed, it's to take care of the family. She got out of laparoscopic surgery two weeks ago, and she's already getting back to work....slowly though. Told her, as soon as she's ready, I got to get back to work...as soon as I know Uncle Sam is depositing my SS check, which won't be penalized for working. :)

On a warm sunny day, I try to roll a few out, pressure wash the winter gunk off and go over them patching holes with vinyl cement and patches. I still carry a piece of patch and cement in the sidebox, but anymore if I see a hole it gets gorilla tape. I've had gorilla tape on some now for over a year.

Only have had a major rip happen to my lightweight tarps with the parachute sides, so I just quit using them.

Dang, that’s a nice looking rig. I like the ones like that, that are dressed up just a little without overdoing it.

bought 2 rolls of the standard duct tape from Harbor Freight.

laid down strips horizontally, then vertically over those. did extra on the edges so the wind didn’t pull it up.
