Hey, I have a trailer that is having air issues somewhere.

This trailer used to always take a long time to build air to release the brakes first thing in the morning, but once the air was built it was fine for the rest of the day.

Now when you have to put on the handbrake (red button) it loses all its air and takes for ever to built air again.

I cant hear any leaks when the handbrake is on or off, and the dash gauges seem fine for pressure.

Any ideas on where to start with this one?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Does it have an auto tire pressure filler? If so, you could have a big enough air leak on a tire that you essentially have to bring that tire pressure up before the tank will stay full...

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Where does it dump air from when you pull the red knob? Most likely trailer park valve above trailer axles. That means it is defective.
Slow to release in morning could be the same valve or another restriction.
