Was browsing and noticed this broker listed on truckstop.com credit service. These guys have 4 complaints and still they get to keep that "A" rating. If there was one complaint I can understand that there might be a disagreement on a load waiting for resolution but four screams of a company practicing shady business or starting to go downhill.
What's it take to downgrade brokers credit rating?

They pay the factoring companies on time to protect that credit rating. Everyone else waiting for net 30 gets screwed over because they don't/can't affect that credit score.

I don't know if that affects their credit. Don't really know how credit gets reported. Just know that's the game that is played. Lots of brokers have excellent credit on DAT and "20 days to pay" but people in comments complain about them being slow to pay. You have to take that with a grain of salt but if a LOT of people have the same complaint where there's smoke there's fire.

So true. Its pretty regular thing on truckstop to see 20 days to pay and go run credit check elsewhere and it's 40+ days to pay

Brokers pay truck stop much more than drivers. Why would truck stop/dat hurt the image of those paying them the most?
