A new thing popped up on my media manager on the Qualcomm and they've labeled 5 fuel stops as terminal locations where they have the cheapest diesel.
1. yard in Fremont
2. Pilot in Council Bluffs
3. Bosselman's in Grand Island
4. Flying J in Ardmore, OK
5. Pilot in Morris, IL
Basically, company drivers are allowed to fuel at these locations if they need to regardless of whether it's a fuel solution or not, and they won't get dinged for fuel compliance.
They also made a special emphasis on the Pilot in Morris. Apparently that's the cheapest fuel in FCC's system.runningman0661 Thanks this. -
Today was one of those days that I ask myself at the end of the day, why in h&// am I still doing this. Twice today coming into construction zones in Wyoming and Nebraska, I had truck drivers almost cause accidents because they were either too busy playing with their phones or just plain stupid.
Example 1. Plenty of warning that the left lane ends. A member of the Illinois white Volvo gang that’s too busy playing with his phone, finally sees at the last minute that the lane is ending, panics and forces me onto the shoulder so he can get in. Example 2 Construction zone near Sydney, I’m in the one open travel lane, two trucks merging in off the entrance ramp about 200 ft apart, I let the first truck in, truck two doesn’t even try and obey the yield sign, assumes he has the right of way, and almost side swipes me. He takes out several barrels in the process. Five miles up the road Haji and his co driver flip me off , try to take my hood off when coming back over, and brake check me.
I sound like a broken record, but the quality of drivers out here anymore is a freaking joke.MidWest_MacDaddy, xlsdraw, BigR and 5 others Thank this. -

I will add on to this with bonehead shippers. Been here since 9:30 am for a load and after a little over 5 hours I flagged down a yard dog to see what was up. He said my load was ready. They took my phone number at the guard shack but I've never received any calls. Who knows how long they've had my load and bills ready for while I've just been sitting here. This is why I hate food warehouses. I don't miss hauling a reefer one bit.

These kinds of incidents are why I strongly recommend drivers purchase a dash cam of their choice to put in the track because it’s not if but when some moron hits you and you’re on the highway since there seems to be more morons, and there are good drivers anymore… There’s also a reason why so many companies are going to cameras as well… It’s gotten to be absolutely pathetic out here

@runningman0661 this happened yesterday in eastern Iowa on I 80… This idiot from Chicago as usual came around me on the right as I was preparing to pass that four wheeler pulling a trailer and cut in between us nearly taking us both out
BigR, cdavis188, runningman0661 and 2 others Thank this. -
I will be the first to admit that I'm not the best driver to grace this earth but compared to some of these reckless people I might as well be. A couple weeks ago I was going through Pratt, KS and some Haji was speeding through town while yelling into his phone. Turned onto 61 highway and about a mile up the road he was pulled over by KHP.
BigR, runningman0661 and drvrtech77 Thank this.
