That top pic is like the one in my old 770. Thought it was the best layout and stuff i've seen before or since.

I started in single bunk cabovers and would never back to a tiny sleeper !
In my old age even tho I don't stay out long periods of time I want I want comfort and convenience! -
Me like @Arctic_fox would rather have dependability versus amenities..

It was definitely a factor for me when I was buying a truck. Since then, I've gutted the interior and installed my own cabinets and a bar sink, so I wouldn't focus on the interior for a future truck. If I don't like the layout, I can always gut it and customize it however I'd like.

I don't need luxuries or toys. If I'm in the truck, I'm either driving, sleeping, or reading in the bunk. Hell, I don't even have a fridge or microwave! But I DO need space. I can't be cramped. So I'm getting ready to create more space in my truck. This will be my first extra-curricular project on the truck.

I have never been the type to lay over. I just need a bed and a place to throw a travel bag. That said I’m not into laying down to change clothes cause there is no where to stand up or mostly stand. I do require A/C in the bunk. A map to the #### I loose in there be nice. A more spacious well laid out bunk would just be a place for me to loose more ####. We all have different opinions wants and needs. I’ll take power train upgrades rather than sleeper accommodation.
