If you give me the point a to point b, Rand can run it on a demo and see how it reacted. But, since it came from DieselBoss you should be on version 1472. The unit tries to keep you on truck legal routes. If the road is not tagged as STAA, it will not route you on it.

    thanks,
    Mark

Interesting thing happened today. I was on I10 headed east out of houston. I was looking for the closest CAT scale along my route. She (my tnd 500) said that the pilot in east st louis IL on exit 4 was along my route and only 79 miles away..........interesting.:biggrin_2556:

Mapping in the area around Grapevine Texas on Hwy 121 needs updating. There is construction that has been completed recently and she tells you to turn where theres no place to turn. At one point she would keep you going in a continuous loop if you didnt use common sense.

    Mark Kling Thanks this.

Can you give me your starting point and dest? that is quite interesting...

also if possible.. if you connect your unit to your computer...look for an external drive with a Navi folder ...then under that a LOGS folder... send me the log files please..

    Thanks,
    Mark

RM is working on some fixes for that... they are being tested by the Beta Testers and if it looks good, then QA will have to approve it..

    Thanks,

I am still praying for via points.
    Like the overview ideas.
Need to adjust speed. Tired of adding hours in my head to the eta it gives. If I am going 400 miles and it is routing me the way I need to go, I have to add 1 to 1.5 hours to it's eta to guess my arrival time, and add even more on longer trips.
I would rather it be set slower than faster. Getting there early is not a bad thing, getting there late cannot happen. Ever.
90% of the time I cannot take the route given. Especially if toll roads are around. And since I cannot set filters to go around them and have the unit work well. I am screwed. I use the filters anyway and hope for the best.

Were the truck stop filters ever fixed? I have not tried them.

I still feel stiffed over paying 100 dollars more for the unit than it sells for now. About 5 months since I bought the unit and still not right.

ETA and Via points are in the next version. Once the version is released I will have to post a little "how-to" on this. This next version is a little long in comming, since we added more features and corrected some issues. A lot more to Beta check and double check. It should be going to QA shortly for their testing.

I thank everyone for holding off so long for this new version. It is worth it.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Glad I didn't buy one. I'll just keep using my pcmiler navigator. At least it finds all the truck routes without errors
