Last time I was there, I had to figure out what to do with 25 cases of cat food that got tossed back on the trailer.

There's a severe lack of common sense in the world anymore, that's all I'm gonna say.

Quoting Sheriff Burford T. Justice "what in the hell is the world comin' to?"

Got my next load, still getting unloaded at reciever in Denton. Picking up a trailer from Texas Truck A/C on the south side of Dallas near the I-20/45 junction. Is this a drop yard for us? I've never been to this location. I checked the address on satellite and it looks more like truck parking then a normal shipper.

    bzinger Thanks this.

We have spaces #22-31&177-178, those are the only ones we can drop in. You'll enter a code to get in and out off the gate 24/7

BTW, if you haven't already, ya might want to keep a notepad or something with the codes and info on each drop yard you go to, we have a few on this fleet we use regularly, it'll make things easier when you roll up on one in the middle of the night that you haven't been to in a month or so, instead of making phone calls or looking it up on the qualcomm. Then again maybe I just do sh!@ the old ###@er way!! .... so there's that lol

Amen brother! First thing I do when I get a dispatch is write down all my load info down in my notebook before I even write up a transflow sheet for it. Same thing with tracking my weekly mileage. Used to save a spot on the same page for directions before smartphones and GPS. still got the ol Rand McNally map book with me though lol.. I did finally break down and "upgrade " to a 2019 book a couple years ago on clearance! My last one was a 2009 version! Figured I got my money's worth outta that one lol
