Oh, still backed up from the holiday. Not normally like that holidays screwed all the shippers up. I sat 2.5 hours yesterday waiting for a "preloaded " trailer in Duncanville, and they are normally an easy in and out, that's truckin for ya. FCC takes care of ya when that happens though, at least if ya got a good DM.

Mine too he's laid back. Don't really hear from him much he figures out how ya want to run and tries to make it happen.

Settlement # 2 from fcc confirms my hard to completely determine math on the difference between Morehouse and FCC in terms of income ...so many differences between pay structure , deductions and who pays for what .
But the differences are now easier to figure out having more accurate numbers .
I'll start off by saying I've run no harder at fcc than I did at Morehouse and did not involve any tolls that fcc pays and I was apprehensive about signing on here with a milage contract that on the face of things sounds cheap .
When both money bags get dumped on the table the Morehouse bag was easy to add up cause I paid for everything and no fuel discounts and they took 30% of that .
Now we dump the fcc bag with a so so mileage rate and when ya factor in paid plates , paid fuel taxes , insane fuel discounts, paid tolls , lower insurance rates , zero administration fees and cheaper weekly deductions on qaulcomm etc etc etc ....good shop rates and better production due to all the drop and hook .
Considerably better income at FCC ! And a much better class of people to work with that don't sound pissed off all the time .

That's the way the City Father's want it I believe.....keep wage competition down so Tony's, Great Plains/Land Pride, Stryten Battery, etc can pay lower wages. That's the way I see it after being here for 11 years now.

Appreciate it man ! Lots a good times in my Morehouse days and no ill will but fcc is a different company.
I enjoy the laid back atmosphere, no bad tudes .
Life isn't all about money to me and I can enjoy life a little now .
I really got the stinkeye out of Morehouse over that .
Such is life so I took my bat and ball to another team .

Do not, I repeat do not pick up there after Dallas experiences a WINTER STORM of 1/2" of snow the previous day and all the warehouse people called out. You will wait approximately 6.5 hours while they load your toilets.
