Slight change of plans. I will run these pallets up to Omaha as planned this afternoon, then pick up a trailer from Crete going back down to Dallas.

I will take this load through the house to reset my hours so I'll be good to go until next weekend. Will probably roll back out Sunday afternoon.

Dropped in Columbia, Sc about noon on July 4th, bounced to the house for the night. Reloaded Wednesday morning in Harrisburg, Nc going to Hastings, Ne. delivered that this morning. Did a drop and hook In Crete going to Walmart in Cullman, Al. for a drop Sunday. From there I will pick up a preloaded trailer in Morrison, Tn. going to Woodbridge, Illinois for a drop on Monday.

I was just given a heads up from Guy in Sales that we might see a noticeable slowdown in freight volumes next week due to plant shut downs due to maintenance. Two of our biggest customers will be doing retooling and maintenance. The big customer in Lincoln and the customer that has multiple plants in Nebraska and the Carolinas that starts with B and ends with D. He says both facilities should be back to full capacity on the week of the 17th.

That makes sence because I can't get out of here until Monday and I'm going to Georgia not the northeast.

Maybe it's a good thing I decided to not run over the weekend. When I called dispatch they said they were light on freight even this morning. I was afraid I would've had to sit on this load of pallets over the weekend but thankfully they came up with a load out of Crete which means I should make out well for this pay period.

Talking about pallets, Propak here in Omaha got slammed with trucks right after I arrived. Guess I'm glad I left the house when I did. 5 minutes later and I would've been at the end of 5 trucks in line, instead of 2nd in line.

Propak in Omaha sucks, we once dropped there, but now they say they don’t have the room for dropped trailers. I avoid that place like the plague.
