Was hoping if anyone has experience or know about them and how good or bad they could to consider.
One thing I know they’re both DryVan

I'd stay away from H@m if you are talking about the dry van and hopper outfit based in omaha .
Twas once a great company but that changed around 2012 when the owner put others in charge including his son in law .
After that it was all about money and never mind the driver .
Very few in omaha will work for them anymore .

Danny Herman has great lanes as far as length of haul and going true coast to coast. In my short time there, the equipment was mediocre -- way too high of a percentage of trailers with major defects. I don't mean nitpicking tread depth like I do constantly lol, but things like major airleaks, tires with broken belts, etc..

Trucks are hit or miss. They're all KW's, so fairly nice, but they run steel wheels and mismatched recaps on drives if that tells you anything. Surprisingly, they do have nice TK APU's and inverters though, so that's a perk.

Terminals are hit or miss as well -- Mountain City and El Paso are nice. Nogales is mediocre. The rest are glorified drop lots.

Dispatching is done by the regional terminal if nearby. Otherwise, it's done by an assigned DM. My assigned DM was as unfriendly as possible. Not once did I ever hear a good morning, thank you, no problem, have a good day, safe travels, etc. Phone call was always answered 'yeah' and ended with 'mmhmm' or 'okay'. I'm not one to small talk with dispatchers, but does make the job a little rougher when you feel like a burden if you need their help.

Miles were hit or miss as well. Spent 2 days laid over in Phoenix waiting on a reload. I spent 36 hours waiting to deliver a final mile load for someone for basically free. It wasn't considered a layover because I was 'dispatched'.

Some drivers love(d) it there, and I can definitely see the potential for a good job, but my personal experience was pretty poor.

Lots of things across the border. They're a primary carrier for Paccar, but not a whole lot of commuter car parts

Maybe your story is different. Every company has ambassadors. Every company has drivers that don't care for it. In a way, all companies are pretty much the same. Your experience with either one will definitely be different. If I had listened to certain folks, I wouldn't have came to Climate Express. My story has been different from the naysayers. For me, I feel like I've found a home there so to speak. It works for me and family. Maybe either one of those will work for you, maybe they won't My question to you is how did you come to where those 2 were the final 2 choices? What do you look for in a company?

1st thanks for your response and everyone else tried to through his 2 cents.

Well.. I’m not picky I just wanna work not afraid of working lots of hours every day for so many weeks, I have over a year experience..
I prefer long runs away from areas like the east coast if possible cause I found it hard to maneuver and find my way to shutdown since everywhere packed.
Of course I’m looking for where I can make the most money to get rid of my debt and save some.
Also I tend to steer away from refer cause I heard those nightmare stories about losing your hours and miles over at shippers and receivers, while I love the night driving and shutdown by 3PM the latest but if I got a good reefer company I’m down it’s not like a deal breaker. Meanwhile what’s anybody’s thoughts of DENNEY TRANSPORT out of Denver
I have all the endorsements including TWIC but no experience pulling tanks just I have the endorsement oh yeah and I’m restricted no manual.
I live out of Las Vegas, NV

Far better than anything you’ve listed. 5yr-old DC in Bullhead City. Great people. Touch or no-touch positions. $80K-$110K, depending on position. Out and back routes. Your reefer concerns do not apply at this place.
