Painting brown a bright yellow how much does it cost? Well look at truckstop food. How much does that cost. It’ll turn yellow to brown.
Sharts is what it cost. Sharts.

Kind of same with John Deere. Back in and around 1975, JD had a truck engine out on the road in a few selected trucks (Owners and brands and type runs/loads) to see what they had in real road life. I was working for a Clark dealer in Memphis, TN at the time.

This was also the time period when Clark and JD were co/mfg the Clark upright on a reversed JD tractor, and where I got my info
You may have seen rail flat cars of them being distributed. Their unit was good, but a tractor hung forklift just was not the all round thing.

It was decided by JD that turning plows, combines, hay balers, etc, would remain constant but OTR engines would become a quagmire.
So Green prevailed to keep the green incoming. Rumors along during that time was that they had one hell of an engine. Sad it never competed.
I reek Red IH, but was also sensible enough to stay out of the way of an old "A" JD pitty patting up behind me.

Vehicles have ALWAYS had buzzers, lights, and the like to let you know somethimg was wrong.... The problem was many didnt know what smoke, steam, sparks, and grinding noises ment. So manufacturers went to icons on the dash.

Ford contracted with New Holland for a 7.8 till they early 90s when the switched over to Cummins.

The Ford 6.6 and 7.8 diesel engines are medium duty truck engines primarily used from 1985-1994. They were popular in B series buses along with the F-600, F-800, and F-900. Ford 6.6L and 7.8L diesel engines are officially the Ford-New Holland engines and may also be known as the Ford “Brazilian” diesels. The Brazilian diesels are durable and reliable, but the lack of power is evident. In this article, we discuss some Ford 6.6 diesel and 7.8 diesel history, specs, performance, and problems.

Why is bleach so expensive. $5+ at Walmart for a gallon. All cleaning things were spendy too.

It was around $2 before the viper lockdown, iirc. 150% inflation.

This is the viper. Where millions of translucent and transparent vipers roamed the streets. This one is neither. But no snakes got on a plane, hard to believe.
