I literally woke up like 3 minutes ago, but good night

 

Finally got moving a bit after noon. The whole fiasco burned 4+ hours of my day. Wound up bobtailing to the CB yard and shagging a trailer to Lincoln then picked up a load to Charleston IL. Pulled into a little truck stop near Hannibal, Mo and made a spot with 5 minutes left on my 14. Headed to the house from Charleston and getting fully moved in.
A bit buried in all the administrivia. Forgot to slide my tandems on my inbound at Lincoln so I’m sure I’ll get dinged for that but I *think* I got all the macros done. Not feeling it right now but hopefully there will be better days.

 

Was hoping that doing a split sleeper might salvage the day (I’ve never used it before but after wasting a decent chunk of the day I was ready to try new things if it would help), but alas I could only make it a couple hours down the road then I’d have to shut down for 2 hours,

 

The def tank on this Peterbilt is small. Just above 1/8 tank and I didn't even pump 11 gallons of the stuff

 

Sure wish I was running then. I dispise starting my day this late. Thanks again McKinley! They just keep giving

 

@bzinger are there any good pizza joints in CB or Omaha? I'm gonna be pretty hungry once I get up there

 

Yes !!....pizza counter is just east of the cb terminal on south omaha bridge rd or veterans or hwy 92 or whatever they are calling it these days ...and they deliver yummy pies .

 

Actually the best pizza in CB is pizza king at the corner of kanesville Blvd and North Broadway...butttt ..they don't open until 4 pm and they don't deliver.
You would think with all the Italians in omaha good pizza here would be easy to find but its not .
If ya want a really good pie around here ya go to CB.

 

You will get settled in and no one will jump you for any boo boos during ramping up.
