tried RF chokes on speaker seads, I put them as close to my amp as possible. Did not change anything. relocated grounds to different spot on frame and did nothing. I can also talk on mic and here my voice through speakers. Not sure what to do. Nothing seems to fix it.

Try putting the chokes as close to the speaker terminals as possible.

Yes your right the chokes need to go on the speaker leads not the amp.

The chokes are on the speaker wires. I put them about one inch from the back of the amp where the speaker wires connect to the amp. The amp is a 120 watt max output stereo amp. I have more chokes, I will put some on the speaker leads by the speakers.

  8. If the filters don't work at the speakers try without the amp in line if you can to see if it works ok. If the cb & amp are on the same power feed put the cb on its own you can use coax for the power feed to the cb with the braid to neg & inner to live with a fuse on each end. The coax should be rg58c/u with multi strand inner wire. Don't have the speaker wire near the cb.

Ok, the problem is fixed. I have a toggle switch wired to a back up light. some haw power was feeding through toggle into the amp or cb (not sure which one). Replaced toggle and rewired and screach is gone. When I turn on my back up light I still get feedback when mic is keyed. not sure how that is possible but it does it. I can live with that cause I will rarely back up and talk on cb with music on. Thank you for the info and help, I learned a lot.
