I wonder what the cost difference is between using #1 diesel(which is kerosene) and a yearly glowplug and screen replacement along with a burn chamber flush.

 

Not sure…these kerosene bunk heater will sure heat up the bunk for sure…our tanks are mounted to the cab wall on the back..

 

Made it home a couple hours ago. Gonna shower then my roommate and I are driving down to Hutchinson to the state fair. Haven't been there since I was probably 10 or 11

 

I know on the ParkSmart system on a older model Cascadia you're looking at a couple hours to remove, rebuild, bench test and reinstall. The major issue is drivers not exercising them during the off-season and keeping them "burned out".

 

That's probably part of the reason many companies opted to go to the Airtronic/Webasto heaters. A lot simpler to install, service, and replace. I still have the glowplug socket for them in my toolbox at home.

 

We were leaving town and saw some dude running on foot from the police and a cop tried to nudge him with their cruiser causing him to trip and fall in some grass. Free entertainment for the day

 

Yep a 579 Pete got it patched up enough to make it to Fremont. You still in Alaska.
