Well, I’ve been monitoring a slowly decreasing oil level for a bit and was hoping to get back to the Shop for my next 8k and have them look at it but yesterday it decided to get worse and I had a puddle under the truck this morning. So I’m flip flopping Home Time for a Shop Visit and hoping they can find me both a load heading from Chicago to Fremont Friday, and then a load heading East so I can swing through Central Illinois for a couple days of slightly delayed home time. Timing for this Home Time is flexible but an unplanned and unscheduled shop visit is tossing a few curves.
Bought a couple gallons of oil to keep the pump primed good until I find my way back to the mothership.

Well the first frost/freeze of the season has come for my area and throughout the central and northern Plains. A lot of freeze warnings issued. Salina is only under a frost advisory but it could easily turn into a freeze watch/warning at any time. Temperature is forecasted to fall into the mid 30’s tonight for my area. Going to use the opportunity and head out to my truck first thing Saturday morning to crank the APU heat and see if it works.
