Like some Drivers hate Autos and other Drivers hate safety bells and whistles, I have a serious aversion to installing everyone’s apps on my person tech. I don’t even like most of the apps I do have on my phones due to tracking issues.

 

Don’t give him any ideas… lol

 

Got back in the truck yesterday after a weekend with the kids. My son and I have been watching the James Bond movies when he comes over. We polished off Moonraker this weekend.

First load assignment was a short hop to New Jersey, delivering at 7:00am this morning in Monroe. Spent the night at the Bordentown Petro, arrived bright and early at the receiver. They had a sign informing all and sundry that drivers are required to wait inside the building or else they won't be unloaded. Fortunately, that turned out to be incorrect, and I sat in my truck while they unloaded.

From there, drove to Tremont, PA, to pick up a pre-loaded trailer at a Big Lots! DC. Delivers at 6:00am tomorrow morning in Lynchburg, VA, at one of their stores. Currently parked in their parking lot after confirming with the manager that I can park here tonight and not get booted/towed.

 

These Big Lots! trailers are floor loaded. If you get one, expect to be in the receiver's dock for a while.
