Don't do it. Reports are dozens of people got frost bite and hypothermia from the game the other night.

I've watched enough guys take that ride over the years...never had the pleasure myself...usually caused from too much forward velocity, combined with improper braking. It's kind of fun to watch but it has to be terrifying to the poor guy that it is happening to.

I agree, as long as the sun is keeping you warm it would be pretty nice to get out there and enjoy the day. Just be ready for sun down.

It was minus 13 at the game with a lot of wind. A sunny 27 really isn't bad...until the starts to set that is.

Yep, having an EV in a cold climate is about like having a snowmobile in Phoenix!

Stay loose & drive through it. Log trucks will teach that preferred method

It's all on if you are actually set up for it, and properly planned the purchase.

Checked mine the other day and was still showing 190 miles available charge, after setting for the past week in the 20's. More than enough for the wife's 80 mile round trip commute. Watched the range climb back up to 195 driving into town as the pack warmed up.

For a regular days outing recharges in about 5 hours while I sleep because I have my charger turned down to 30 amp draw from the rated 50.

Still cannot recommend anyone purchase one without a hybrid or gas/diesel to play back up and for longer trips

I'm also of the belief that they are not the right choice for the vast majority of the population..... cause the vast majority of the population is grossly incompetent.
