Now sitting at the Love's next to the truck repair. They have the new radiator in and are just putting it back together. With any luck I should be on the road in a couple of hours....hopefully I can be rid of this load in a couple of days.

Drive safe Warp, if you don't feel like driving a full day to make up for lost time don't do it. I hated hanging around for truck repairs or late loads because it made me more tired. But I just put in a short drive to get back on my sleep schedule some what.

I had the misfortune of having a transmission go out while I was stopped ON THE SCALE at an Oregon weigh station in the middle of nowhere. On the day before Thanksgiving. I had to get towed off the scale and I spent an entire week waiting for the repairs, because of the holiday. The mechanic was nice enough to have me over for Thanksgiving dinner, though.

I'm in Dalton now but it looks like I'm headed to Conover from here. This is the third time in a row I've delivered in Georgia only to be sent to Conover instead of Dalton. And every time I sit around and wait for a load out of Conover, at least until enough drivers in front of me wuss out on a Jersey load and I get to scoot ahead in line. I ain't scared of Jersey; in fact, I like it up there.

yeah!, remember the message that went out a few months ago saying that ALL drivers, owner ops included needed to help out in conover pulling loads??? i remember that message, but it seems like everyone that i talk to that goes to conover always ends up getting 1 or 2 resets in 1 week...:biggrin_25516:
i got here just a while ago... gotta deliver in atlanta at 6!!
    time for bed!!

Hey all...didnt update last nite, was tired. Thought I'd get to it today (or tonite) as I am able to deliver tomorrow in Ohio. Saw 4 different states today, all differing shades of brown and/or grey......I'm sure they look nice when the leaves come on the trees, but all the empty branches was sort of depressing. I'm just outside of Indianapolis, IN. I have to swing by the terminal tomorrow morning as they overnighted my new tags/sticker there for me to pick up. Now all I have to do is get my PrePass working and I'll be fine...talk to you all tomorrow...

    alex94 Thanks this.

Well, got the load to Ohio on Thursday, picked up right outside of Pittsburgh Friday, to deliver in North Carolina on Monday....a lot of time for not too many miles, so I'm sitting at a Flying J in NC getting a reset...

Did I mention that whoever designed Pittsburgh was on crack or something?? Been there once and hope to never go back in a rig. Seriously screwed up!!

I agree that place is terrible to navigate in a semi. Only thing worse is NYC.
