Still surprising to me the amount of people that brag about things they ought to be ashamed of.

Solo, but 166 hours of run time, averaging 30 mph. I'll ignore the abysmal fuel economy.

There is no way a solo driver can run a 5,000 a week average legally. Maybe if they stick in-between the rockies and i35 with long length of hauls, but that's Avery limited freight profile.

Your plan sounds just like the advertising from mega leases.

it’s 68 mph on the driveline. The rest is idle, where more than half the time “hurry up & wait” I purposely didn’t shut the truck off to see how pathetic sitting around waiting extracting 40hrs for sleep. In other words “how pathetic warehousing is…”

Also, to answer the plan literally favors exactly what mega carriers “do not do”…their design is entrapping drivers with employment stuff that only last for so long until the driver quits or begins to job hop.

the plan favors the driver who literally says I want to own a truck, set up my own authority & don’t mind paying the bill for it, just help me do it, show me where to go. In response all they say is thank you for your help now let’s move freight.
    • The plan doesn’t even benefit me.
The benefit for me, is helping a driver accomplish an idea they have for themselves, perhaps a dream, a goal, a plan and in doing so in business for themselves.. you know that guy JFK. Where I’m from… there a park, in stone, there’s a quote.. pretty famous one.. “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country,” asked every American to help empower the greater good.. (question you make a delivery, do you know how many people you help? probably not, but you know, you do a good job & on to the next one. Make more of those people they help people)
    • Some drivers literally just want to own their truck & be left alone
    • Some want to work for a small team of independent contractors, specializing in certain freight
    • Some just wanna work for a fleet that’s the size of a football team or two. 100-300 drivers/trucks tops.
    • Some wanna be a mega carrier driver trainer and not drive all week but sit in a passenger and brag about how much they make off their trainee and truthfully shouldn’t be a trainer at all. But some driver trainers take it serious and make company drivers with a terrible industry turnover rate.
    • Some driver just wanna be an ups driver run around in Amazon sprint van or go drive a snowplow truck for the DOT in the mountains or snow prone states/cities, cut lawn in the warmer days.
JFK didn’t ask me to go to war or become famous or anything, and I’m born 1990, so I’m not even from the JFK era 50s-60s.. all I see there in the quote was some notable person dead, in stone, asking if someone can help him out with something & then they shot him for it basically in hatred. Real typical American BS. Anyway doesn’t matter won’t solve nothing still happens today, point is though - love thy neighbor - help out. Understand a persons purpose, help them accomplish said plan (not a crazy plan) nothings wrong with a CDL driver “qualified” wanting to be accomplished OR BECOME MORE in their field and set up for success. The journey is wherever they take it, if they take it, because you can give someone an opportunity, but you can't force them to take it. It’s up to them to take it & make it theirs. Horse drinks the water & wants to be like Bruce Lee smooth with it - be like water - become a master in the vessel, man the ship, then let’s go captain, button up. If their plan is that to begin with, they say I want this & they’re legitimately qualified for this, they’re ready, then why not do that? Why not just help someone with their said plans? Their gonna do it anyway… Especially in trucking it’s really not rocket science its basically business fundamentals, little method to the certain procedures/protocols, understanding DOT regulation & drivers know 75% of it all BY JUST BEING CONSISTENT driving in the seat & not just seeing a job.. they see a purpose to the position per delivery.

I thought you were a secret agent taking down the Chicago companies. Anyway, I applaud your ability to not answer direct questions. Perhaps politics should be in your future.

How do you plan to push your trucks down the road 150k miles per year when you won’t have the ability to force dispatch your 1099 contractors?

I did that. According to the USDOT there’s two open investigations, couple former driver lawsuit, collectively all there companies as one have multiple fatality accidents and crash amount of violations, failed inspections & fatalities. And now they know exactly where all their operations at actually located. I wasn’t a secret agent at all. I made them my biotch loud & clear even while I was driving. Told company & the owner wished him & his family dead, and at the time since it was nearly Friday told him cut me a check foreigner in Lithuania, and send my 1099 come tax time dirtbag - he’ll do exactly what I said - unless he wants to be get sued again.. But according to the USDOT, the IRS is already looking into them as well for falsifying lease agreements and evading taxes and other state & federal crimes.

Anyway, come with all your questions. I’ll sit here and answer all of them.
