Until it runs over the side, lol. I don't know about Ag Exemptions, if any, in KS. Farm tags are a "get out of jail free" card, but you being commercial would be another story. Guess it would depend what road/distance you would be using to know what you could get away with.

I wouldn't worry about age if it was taken care of. I think the price to re-line a floor with new aluminum is a bit higher than putting in a quality liner. I would want a liner in an aluminum trailer hauling aggregates anyway. You'll be in for an additional $10k after repairs, especially if you have it done in a shop.

Well @YardMule89 beat me to it. I was gonna say the same thing as far as weights hauling grain, shut it off before it starts coming over the side, and make sure you can still tarp it. In a 30’ end dump I wouldn’t even worry about it just fill it up. In a 28’ I can load beans to the bows and be like 76k. The only exemption I know of is when hauling grain within a 150 radius no HOS rules apply so you can keep trucking to your hearts content. Find a bull hauler, he might have a toothpick he’ll give you. :happy2:

Pretty lack luster down this way lately, unfortunately had a “distracted” driver slam in to me Wednesday morning while stopped at a light, thankfully for both parties everyone was ok. Trailer took it pretty rough, got that sorted out though with a few trips to the shop. Praying things pick up soon, @motocross25 i see one of your coworkers almost weekly down here, red flat top Pete, any idea who that is?

Whoa sorry I didnt see this! That suck you got ran into. It’s crazy anymore out there. Glad you’re ok. No I don’t know who that would be off the top of my head. They have a couple guys that live in that Alabama/Florida area that just kinda run regional, it might be someone who stays down there and I never see. On another note, we have been getting treated salt from the salt mine. And they treat it as they are loading it, and are not bashful with the treatment. So it gets everything nice and sloppy. So that’s neat.

Foggy fertilizer delivery on a Saturday, this one tested the patience. Tough visibility, and a crappy spot to dump, but the end result made the customer happy so that’s what matters. IMG_1218.jpeg IMG_1219.jpeg IMG_1220.jpeg

So on a long frameless like that, do you pull forward after it's full extended or do you put it down, pull forward and raise it again?

    Pacemaker334 and NightWind Thank this.

Depends on what it’s doing going up, this particular situation I’d set it down a little and pull forward but keep it up most of the way because that helps me determine the level spots in the ground, the picture doesn’t do that spot justice, they had just disced the field so every movement forward was a different challenge in itself. And to try to make it make sense, fertilizer in that amount doesn’t unload from front to back, it comes out from top to bottom so you always have to mindful that the product is basically still fully in your trailer until completely empty.

Welcome to the dark side! I like that setup that’s a good looking truck. What area of the country are you running around?
