They have all kinds of options, including 6, but they really do micromanage the heck out of you. Can't say I recommend for everyone. Like my old Daddy used to say, " trading jobs is like trading wives. You're just trading bads."

The usual, of course. Strict about what fuel stops (understandable gobs of trucks every penny counts). Busy busy computer entries. Zero PC unless you can contact manager first and get permission and it better be an emergency. Strict seat belt even if moving two inches. None of that bothers me. Must wear uniform (provided) and I like that. Not so standard is this inward facing AI lytx camera system. I think I'm in trouble already. It is very stupid and talks all the time. It spots an exit speed sign and starts nagging about speeding ! Speeding! Speeding! Even though you are on 80mph hwy. Also if I'm wearing my sunglasses and pull my hat down to deflect sun, it thinks I'm falling asleep. Then it shouts distracted distracted distracted like a meth addled parrot. I figured it was just a machine and flipped it the bird. Come to find out there is a person looking at that. Oops. I gotta go watch myself on camera today.

Besides that, there are so many alarms and buzzers on this cascadia is maddening. All are top volume and sound panic stricken.
God knows I can't afford to lose this job so it adds stress to it. Reckon i can get used to it if they let me.

I liked Hunt when I was there for a couple years. Probably would still be there today if it were not for a nutty fleet manager. Yes you are micro managed to much and it feels like your just a cog on an assembly line but hey nothing is perfect. The company I’m with now I absolutely love and can’t seem to do any wrong no matter what I do so I’m super happy to stay put. Best of luck to you !!

Welp. It was the gesture that pushed the snowflake at the camera company over the edge all right. Very embarrassing, but I learned something valuable. I'm so short, that camera can't see any of the dumb stuff I've been doing. She suggested I have shop bring camera down so it doesn't just see the top of my head cuz it thinks I'm texting. Well hell no! I will take off my shades or lift my hat or get a see thru visor, I'm not giving up the benefit of that stupid camera not actually able to see me! Anyway, I'm not in trouble cuz they could see I wasn't texting or anything just camera stupid. So... no more ridiculous gestures and I'm golden.

That’s one of the big problems with those cameras. You wind up trying to drive in a way that you don’t piss off the camera. I hated that when I had to deal with it.

Us too. It is not a safety feature as far as I can tell, just a tool to satisfy office egos and insurance companies. But, workin' for "the Man" what's a Goat to do?
