42 years ago a lot of the DPS boys on 17 had pretty healthy sense of humor— if you weren’t ignorant

 

Gonna wait till my parents get here???? That would have been the very last thing I would wanted to have happen—thinking that I would have rather had him take my dumb ### to jail where it was safe before the old man arrived on scene

 

I been contemplating this— my cousin (the one that got his fingers bit off by the wild Jack burro) stole a coat from Yellow Front in Camp Verde (where all the family settled and was raised for 4 generations) — the clerk saw him do it and gave chase whereupon cousin jumped in a car and locked himself in— cops showed up and he wouldn’t get out so they called uncle Jim (cousin’s dad) who arrived on scene and lost his F’n mind when he got the story— thought he was gonna tear the door off to get to cousin— cops took uncle Jim down to the station and made him promise not to eliminate cousin from the face of the earth— it made a big enough impression on both of us that we never even had a thought about stealing ever again and to avoid trouble with the law at any cost— guess we were just raised differently than most

 

And we found a Critter roaming the hallways
