Dance teachers make bank if you are in the right situation. My wife if a certified IDTA dance instructor, and when we lived in the UK, she was pulling in about $300 an hour.

I reckon its all a big racket, they'll make out to get good money she'll have to go back and get a Masters Degree which will involve another 2 years of university study.

I have a masters in physics and I load shingles onto roofs. After retiring from the military I looked for jobs that required physics degrees. If you didn’t have the engineering certificate then you were un hirable. Most jobs that I applied for were advertising $50-$60k with a doctor’s degree.

I’ve averaged $65k a year moving cars and I’m on track to make $80k this year loading shingles. So why get a degree?

What the US needs is investment in trade schools. But, the university industrial complex will keep that from happening. They make billions putting chads and karens into debt for years for their social and gender studies degrees.

I loved Intro to Sociology, so I asked my mom (a teacher) what I could do with a sociology degree. Her reply: you can become a social worker or a professor of sociology.

My sister said it well..."I have a degree in Fine Arts. It totally prepares me for life...in the 17th century."

She wound up going to law school.

I just read a study that came out the other day that showed the difference between someone who went to medical school to become a doctor and someone who went to trade school or learned on the job to be a plumber. Over a 10 year period of time. The plumber actually comes out way ahead after 10 years. The person going to medical school and becoming a doctor. Yes that’s right. I don’t knock those going to school and getting degree but they’re becoming more and more worthless in this country every day. And with the introduction of artificial intelligence, you better be real selective on what you waste your time and resources going to school for.
