It's like when we get those broker loads to WalMart, where we can't drop the trailer despite the fact that it's one of our regular drop destinations, because it's a broker load and hasn't been set up with those specific parameters.

Sometimes I have been able to convert it to a drop, but other times I had to go through with the live load/unload.

Parked at the Pilot down the road from that dollar tree yesterday then bounced to Toledo this morning to grab that Byhalia load and taking it straight in for live unload 0700 tomorrow. Parked at the Loves in Horse Cave, Ky and going to get up 0100 to get through Nashville in the wee hours. 34 after unloaded.Nan called and was asking if I was going to make it. She said normally drivers need two days to get there. It doesn’t take two days to go 700 some odd miles…..

Depending on the driver, at least two days.

Easiest way to run that Toledo volvo is 24 west to Ft Wayne, than 69 to Indy, than catch 70 to 57 to 55.
Only city you'll go through is Indy, that 24 to Ft Wayne is flat ground 65,no lights.

Take 465 west to get to 70. The other way always seems to be messed up.

Was a total cluster fxck getting out of the Loves this morning. Took an hour to get fuel and out down the road with all the idiots parked at the fuel island 0100 this morning. Had to keep reminding myself to be like Jesus and not the devil and choke the life out of drivers taking breaks at the island, lol! Some ppl do need to fuel and get moving that early.

The Marines eat crayons joke never gets old, I always get a good laugh out of it. The mechanic helping behind the fuel desk was a Marine and when he rang up my provisions I got he told me they were having a sale on crayons. I laughed and asked if they had any of the white pineapple flavored ones left cuz they are my favorites, lol! After the fuel island crap I needed the laugh. Thought I was starting a 34 but they sent me a Gatorade load to Gulfport. Hoping they send me back up to WM because Id rather not do a 34 down there.

Drooped on the yard this morning, got an AL for next Tuesday, going home for a couple days.
Ran an Sam's club yesterday,175 miles from here to Baltimore, had 6:40 on the 14,and 5.30hrs to drive,by the time,I dropped up there,I was on personal conveyance looking for parking.
They need to pay an extra incentive for those loads,it's not worth the mileage pay.

    Lonesome and jarhead0311 Thank this.

I don't mind doing those on the weekend, when you don't have to worry about rush hour. Doing them during the week is another thing entirely.
