    Yeah - what @tramm01 said.

Set it up with a list of regular tasks, and a M-FRI grid , that they can initial when completed (makes it a bit of competition).

Then have a section under that of 'deep cleaning/maintenance' tasks - and tell them to add tasks to that list that they think should be performed.

Get their input. And personally give them an 'attaboy' if they rise to the task.

I see more often that younger folks need some encouragement, kind words, thanks and a little reward when they've 'adulted' - many of them lack guidance /acceptance/congratulation from their parents/peers.

Just the fact they're at work, and not avoiding it - these days - is worth something. It might not be up to our standards, or what we achieved at their age - but if we silently expect the same out of kids 30 years younger in this time, without some nourishment - then they will become disinterested and despondent fairly quickly, and lose momentum.

I watched the kid at the Taco Bell in Ft. Bridger, WY on Sunday morning. I turned up, he asked me HOW I WAS - and I looked him dead in the eyes and said - "We're both here, and we're gonna do this!".

When I was waiting for my order, I watched him. He complimented a guy on his ear tattoos, dodging questions for menu items they had run out of. Kept the ball in his court. I thought -

"This guy could sell yachts or private jets - he just hasn't had the opportunity yet".

Nah - when that motor torques that frame over when he mashes on it, it'll be dead nuts straight.

You're looking at it all wrong. It's not how it photographs in the driveway, it's how it looks in the full on , tire smokin' picture of 'Jeep Monthly' 's cover page!

    :)

I personally hate new jeeps. But, I love the old ones!!! Put a Jeep compass beside that one that @OLDSKOOLERnWV is workin on, and which would you pick? No contest, I’d take the old one if it was just a pile of parts!

But seriously - the front clip is a hair low on the passenger side, I'm sure Jim has it placed in for now, or the rest of the hood will line it out. It throws the line of sight out in the picture.

You’re probably seeing it as crooked because of the grill, the grill sets on 1 single bushing in the center. Grill is slightly tilted with the fenders off…

Yes Sir, the fenders help hold the grill level. Without them it is slightly tilting to the passenger side…. good eye my friend….

When you look around there’s quite a few CJ’s with SBC transplants in them. I myself prefer a true AMC engine. This one is factory original with a 304 AMC V8.

I did change out the transmission though, replaced the original 77 3 speed with a 78 Borg Warner T-18 4 speed. Same transmission used in the Ford trucks of that time period…
