I would think it should be close to new lol, I’ve spent a good $10K and not done yet. But I didn’t spare expense or cut corners on the mechanical parts. Every brake line & clips that hold the rubber lines along with wheel cylinders, calipers, rear pads, wheel seals and bearings, all brand new, brake lines were cnc bent and fit the frame nicely lining up with the frame clips as well. But so is the power steering box, drag link, complete tie-rod assembly, it’s all brand new including the power steering hoses.

Son in law said he would do the work getting the complete body ready and then paint it, he’s a painter by trade, has been for over 20 years. There’s over $1000 just in paint and supplies so far, that doesn’t count his pay. When he painted the body tub it was on a rotisserie so the bottom looks as good as the outside….

Kinda proud of this one. I usually weld a bead around the races in hubs. The weld shrinks them a bit and they come out much easier.

I do the same on the power divider input race. Except this one still wouldn't move. So I welded an SPL 250 strap on it and drove it out from the back. Should I be proud of it? No, but i'm easily satisfied

    Worked well.

Truck is back together and ready to work. Rates around here just suck this week, so I'm cleaning a bit and going to the range. 20240723_065635.jpg

I usually just grab the torch and heat 3 or 4 spots on the race to cherry red, then walk away for 5. They almost always fall out with a few taps.
