Where is everyone #5

Somewhere I have pics from about 15 years or so ago when it was stationed on the kootenay near Nelson. Back before I had a cell phone with a camera. I boated right up to it one evening while the crew was working on it. They had a 53' race style trailer as a service rig.
We watched it fly and refill, and land for the day a few times. It was an absolute machine.

Used to watch it all around the Shuswap when I was a kid. If there was a big fire it was there. Shame its being retired.

 

I was at the cold lake airshow 2 weeks ago.
1 of the 2 flyable Lancasters left in the world was there. Another piece of history.

 

Yea but that’s the good kinda wrenching lol, those granbabies make getting older enjoyable. I had to do some of that wrenching your doing last year when the Jeep tub got painted, Nanna’s orders…..

 

A nice place to load yesterday. A couple extra while I was stuck in traffic.

 

When the wife throws some food on your passenger seat, gonna be a little heavy on the steers!
