I just think its really odd how much difference there is amongst people. Some seem to get treated like garbage and others get treated great. Sure I've had my moments with the company but overall I've had a very positive experience. I don't doubt the negative stories simply because there is consistency in them, the same complaints about the same things. I still think it has a lot to do with the divisions. Most of the trouble seem to come from the van side.

I start with flatbed on 22March. Did I make a good decision? I understand everything is what you make it and it sounds like if you are tight with your FM things go well. Did I miss something?

Obviously not every company isn't right for every driver. It's been my experience that, on the flatbed side at least, if you prove yourself to be a hard worker you'll be fine. There are a few FMs that will try to micromanage and a few that'll leave you alone as long as you make your times, log legal, and generally do a good job. There is no magic answer to it. I've been fortunate to get along well with everybody in the office, and I've had a good experience here. I think as a training company you can't go wrong, and maybe you'll enjoy it enough to stay on behind your rookie phase.

I was in refeers. If they have a reason to stiff it to you they will and will make up a scenario to benefit them. My husband was hurt on the job and w/c denied his claim. Now I'm not blaming Roehl themselves for the denial I am saying that as soon as they found out that we got an attorney and am suing them is when I got screwed.

At Schneider it's ten repetitive. I'm pretty sure it's the same at Roehl.
