    Yep!
I know what you are saying. Many years back I had a friend that also drove a Cab-over semi and 2 times a week during the night we would make deliveries to 8 different stores. That truck would jump like a cowboy sitting on a wild horse in a rodeo!
When morning came around we were beaten to the ground.

I run team 5500K a week in a cabover Peterbilt for 10yrs from Dallas to Ft Walton Beach back and forth 2 trips. Had the old swinging bunk. Old timers will remember them. I laugh when the cream puff newbies nowadays complain about a rough ride. They have no idea.

I hit that yesterday as well. Unfortunately I didn’t notice until I had passed TA. Had to run a bit further west to find a parking lot to turn around in.

Hoping they finish it quickly but that section of road really did need to be addressed. It gets a lot of Truck traffic from both TA and Pilot.

Well...maybe.... they have been working on the same stretch of I-57 for about 8 years or so. I was amazed they got the bridges North of Paducah on I-24 done as quickly as they did. I wish they would hurry the hell up and get I-80 through Joliet wrapped up. A lot of the dirt piles from when they dug out the shoulders look like they were always there. With grass and saplings growing on them.

Now that you mention that. Going down the road I have seen more drivers bringing back to life Cab-over semi. I'm going to speculate on this but even though this trucks are a very rough ride they were dependable. I've seen a lot of flat bed drivers pulling loads with them.

When Walmart retired all of their cab overs years ago most of them went to Mexico. You still see a few of them in the Harlingen, Brownsville area.

Yeah it is. Mine does it for about a day or two. But usually once I’m outta shop I’m hitting the road and not shutting it down for awhile. So there’s that.
