Have you ever given a stranger a ride?

I have a driver a ride once years ago. I had a summer job that involved driving at night and noticed a driver starting to look for a payphone as I was finishing up for the night. It was pretty early and he was pretty grateful.

 

That knife never made it to the median. I found it in my hissing drive tire while fueling in Osseo another day...

yes once there was a girl under a bridge her boyfriend kicked her out it was in the desert in like arizona she needed a ride. I told her it was against company policy but id give her water... Well she was thirsty and said if i give her a ride she will give me one... Im only human and a lonely male trucker WTF you think i did? technically though because of insurance you shouldnt give rides to strangers... but if its a cute girl i mean im sure everyone understands.

 

About 30+ yrs ago heading southbound on I65 just north of Nashville below the scales pouring down rain was a young man, car hood up he had started walking. I stopped he got in I took him to the TS and dropped him off. We didn't speak 5 words. Never saw him again. I stopped because my inner voice told me to.

I picked up a hitchhiker in the cold rain on a lonely stretch of highway.
Drove most of the night until I spotted an old cafe, I tossed him a dime as I dropped it into low and told him to have a cup on me. And I drove off into the night.

 

Did you die in a fiery wreck while hauling gasoline instead of running into the broken down school bus full of kids too?

 

Actually it was a pickup truck with kids and dogs in the back.
But a school bus made a better impression.
