Yeah, I did that when it happened to me, but this light is not a check engine light, it's an engine light, the first one, which there's no code on the dash for it, the frustrating thing is, I JUST got my truck back from the shop, they changed the whole coolant system, like the tank and sensor, put a bring new tank full with coolant in it, but now I'm gonna put it back in the shop again!
2020 Freightliner won't start, multiple trips to the shop.

Back in the day when the first ecms were bolted to an engine block if engine water temp gauge showed normal and oil pressure gauge showed normal and engine still running like it should that light would be ignored for 100’s of thousands of miles.
