I didn’t check the power specs on the first one but this ^^^^^ seems like it should work. I didn’t see anywhere it says it needs more than the 260 watts.

My guess is this one would draw 1,500 W, which would work with the inverter - barely. My tea kettle draws 1,200 and always made the inverter beep unless the apu or main engine were running.

My first gig was at Covenant. They would give us a percentage of total idle time at no charge. I think it was 20 percent. It varied between winter and summer. Anything above that , we got charged.
I inquired a couple times how much we were getting charged and never got an answer. So we just idled tge truck as much as needed to stay cool or warm. They would send us messages on the Qualcomm letting us know we were over our allowed ration but we ignored em lol

I wish I could just idle, that would make it much nicer. I’ll deal with a lot of BS, but sleeping hot is something I can’t do. This gig I’m on now really ain’t bad, so I’m going to try to find a way to keep it cold while I sleep. Probably going to take 2 weeks off in June to get out of truck and re-evaluate my position. I’ll be so close to 1 year then.
Supposedly we get a fuel bonus if we don’t idle but I’m not sure that’s true. I haven’t gotten one. My boss sends me messages about idling too, I also ignore them

My trainer was so cheap he wouldn't idle the truck much. Luckily I had brought a sleeping bag and it saved my butt a few times lol
