The past month or so maybe 3 drivers were posting that weighed over 300 lbs.
Quite a few companies hire new cdl school grads from Wichita, KS.
Weekend classes are good so you can keep your current job for the time being.

One driver posted yesterday that he uses an app for studying for the permits and the cdl.
I think he uses CDL Genie app

We had a guy that weighed around 450, he was like 6 feet tall. He had no trouble climbing on top of our tankers, dragging hoses and driving.

He did have some issues with sleep apnea, and required a CPAP machine. Because of that, he was on a six month medical card. He has since moved on, lost like 100 pounds and is doing great.

Had another guy that used to work here, was in the 350 range, he just had a massive heart attack at the age of 40. He survived, but barely.

You better work on your eating habits before you start driving , but yeah, 300lb is pretty average for a modern day dry van/reefer trucker, flatbedders seem to be in better shape
