South Carolina, I-95 and 52, exit 164, shows 52 truck restricted. I haven't found any restriction signs yet.

Actually, it showed restricted but did not trigger the popup, I turned into the T/A, stayed there for a while, came out and back into the Pilot. Did not show restricted going back to the Pilot. Now it has me routed back away from 95 on 52 like there's no problem. 465t shows the same restrictions so there's something there.

It actually looks like some joker put a restriction for a block right in front of the pilot and put another one right in front of the T/A. The only other restriction I found was a 41 ton bridge.

the latest thing seems to be a 1/4 mile lag... it's been doing it for the last 3 days. It's beginning to feel like I work for the tnd.. instead of it working/helping me do my job. It's a real love hate thing with this tool I tell you. The times it pulls me out of a spot are priceless... but when it seems I need it the most... it decides to do something *interesting*.

Have been using the TND500 since last fall and have had an ongoing issue with about 75 to 80 percent of the addresses being shown on the wrong side of the street. If the destination is on the right, the TND 500 tells me its on the left and visa versa. Have made multiple reports and phone calls to R.M. support about this issue until I've finally just gotten tired of complaining about it. Is this just a problem with my unit or is anyone else having this same problem?

Also, have asked if there's any chance that future releases may show total trip mileage for multistop trips in addition to the individual leg mileage. Any idea if this may happen?

The total trip mileage is in the feature stage right now.

As for addresses on the wrong side of the road, RM does take down your information. Tell Rand would be a good way also. Just because it does not show up correctly on your next update does not mean RM is not listening.

any type of correction that involves the mapping database will not show as corrected till the next mapping database is released. This is not done via the TND Dock. I have mentioned that the TND Dock only updates versions, POI's, Global POI ratings and construction updates.

As with any correction the information has to be verified and then corrected.

I would suggest you use the Tell Rand feature on the TND Dock to save on your phone bill costs.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Just a point of clarification from our experience on your post. Having run routes on the TND 500 (and more recently on the 700 new maps) for about 8 months now, our results do not concur. I'm not saying that the exact mix of destinations that you have coincidentally used aren't having that high of a percentage. I'm just stating that our rather random selection of routes have showed an incidence of less than 5% or so where this brand states the final destination as being on the opposite side of the street from reality. AGAIN, not saying this hasn't been your experience - just that a post providing a second data point on that particular aspect was warranted.

Speaking of addresses, the addresses along 184 in Banner Elk, NC are all off by about 2000. All the maps I could find have the same errors though.

Thanks for the reply. You mention that map updates are not done via TND Dock. How are they done and how often are they released? How do I know when a new map update is available and do I have to pay for them? There is no card in the side slot of my unit so I assume the mapping software is hard coded... is it still upgradable?
