Question about OOIDA… any benefit to joining as a Company Driver? Or just supporting the cause, if one does.

 

let's put it this way. Bunk curtains closed, truck idling, A/C in the back going at full blast and has been for awhile, and it's only gotten down to a bit under 75 in the sleeper

 

I was a member for several years. Never got much out of it.

 

It was probably cheaper and easier to do that, versus fixing that sorry excuse for a driveway, with all of that rebar sticking out of the busted concrete.

 

There are a TON of reasons I am glad I don't live in TX, the heat is the least of those.

 

The heat isn’t the biggest problem. It’s the #### humidity… I live in the Houston area and I can’t stand it

 

Even with the humidity, it's still near the bottom of the list...

 

Anyone notice the circus that Grand Island Bosselman's has been the last couple weeks or so? The last 3 times I have been here for fuel, they were PACKED. like 3 or 4 deep at every pump. It was like that when I pulled in here earlier, and it has been a nonstop #### show for the last few hours. There were trucks parked 2 wide West of the scale a little while ago, one is still there. MOST of these fools apparently don't know how angled parking works, so the line is all over the place. Hopefully, it's a little more reasonable when I wake up in a few hours.

 

Yeah it gets hot in Texas it's not for some pasty northerners or fat blubbory people..Lol just kidding around

 

Is it lack of airflow or temperature coming from vents?
