I sleep with his wife most nights. She is not as hot as 30 years ago. But neither am I. Just have to remember our anniversary.
Co drivers, what’s your relationship like with your dispatcher?

I'm passed around by three ( no not like that). My original one has a calm kaidback way of talking. He sounds like an air traffic controller I used to deal with
The next is a cranky old dude who won't tell you anything until you give him a trip number. Scolds for not calling in info on time. When he answers I roll my eyes
3 one is more recent and talks like he's in a hurry and gas something to do. That all being said, they keep me moving. ( I haul dairy) Rarelg have to wait very long for the next one often next load is waiting when I finish the current one.Lonesome Thanks this. -

The larger companies could have entire departments devoted to it. The HW department, perhaps? (Holmes/Watson)
Your user name might not identify you directly, but what and when you post can be tracked and cross checked with many different factors that will lead right back to you.

Our dispatcher couldn't stand the four of us. We parked off site from the main terminal so we could be closer to where we loaded our tankers. He called us prima donnas. His problem with us stemmed from the fact that we told him where we were going and that he needed to print the BOL's for us. He had control over the driver's at the main terminal but not us. What really triggered him was when we told him that "we don't work for you, you works for us!"

That’s why a driver should never
1. Post his location while he is there. A couple days later, a week later would be better, but while he’s there, stay dark.
2. Post pics of you or the truck. Even if you are an owner op leased on to a company. Had an owner op friend that had his contract terminated for posting himself drinking an adult beverage on facebook. There was a company driver on TTR posted himself staying in a motel, motel fridge stocked with adult beverages. Another member of TTR dropped a dime on this guy and he got fired. Not all of your haters work at your company.
3. Post videos of you leaving or going to your house. TMI.
4. Tell lies at the lunch counter. Had a guy bragging about breaking toothpicks in door keyholes. A driver that had that happen to him heard him say this. Ol toothpick had a bad night.
5. Think anyone in the office is a friend. Dispatch thinks you are stupid and you make more money than dispatch. Instant hater. Had a driver tell his dispatch that his wife cheats when he leaves town. Can you guess what happened next? DUHHHHH! Driver eventually agreed to an open marriage. Your family, your cars, your boat, your vacations, your kids, your side piece, your hustle….keep it all to yourself.Jabuol, D.Tibbitt, Gearjammin' Penguin and 2 others Thank this. -
