Idaho shares info with Utah, Oregon, Washington for sure.
Because we run 53 trailers, we use some length permitted routes. Always get stopped for that.
They can see those states, even pulled up an inspection done two weeks prior.

This may be 100 percent anecdotal. I noticed when I put a new orange seat belt in, I was pulled in less often in both Utah and Idaho.

I got trumped up one time in Utah…….after loading in ID. Lil feller in Utah stopped me and was going through my book and typing on his combobulator and I heard him say mmmmmm. Then he starts asking me what time I was here there and yonder and I says what ever that book says is right. So he says come around here. In his best smart ### voice he says is your plate Arkansas K801645? Yes I tell him then he goes on with #### like you got a twin etc ans finally shows me 5 hours off from the book crossing the coop in ID. What’s to know how that’s possible. So I says cause I’m a lying m’fer that’s how. Look dude I gots 7 kids all under 5, I set of triplets and 2 sets of twins…..I don’t need any trouble theys hungry. That heartless no good M’fer put me out for 10 fined me and had the nerve to say if I’d lie on my book I’d lie bout my kids well I never….. so i decided Gluck dem ho ### low rent m’fers. I’d just peel right on south of the Monticello coop go across White Mesa down to 40. Who needs they ### anyway

I’m bout sure he was unaffected by my decision to boycott his coop but made me feel better. When I was younger we’d load cattle off a White Mesa every year and take em to Amarillo. So it wasn’t like I didn’t know the way.
