Well— @Oxbow and I are looking down the barrel of a 2 day golf’n tournament— starting at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon— we’ve won the Gap money every time we played it (Gap money is where you really suck the first day and then have a a better 2nd day— kinda like sympathy money) so maybe we’ll score again— we’ll represent the WIIS thread well

 

was headed up to dads shop yesterday, and came around a long gradual curve just 3 miles or so from the house, just a few seconds after a fellow on a Harley went head on into a pick up coming the other direction. It was ugly, I don’t gross out easy at all, and I almost puked. Biker didn’t make it. I didn’t stop. According to several witnesses and the pickup driver, (he is a coworker with 2 good friends of mine) bike crossed the center line on the curve, and I could see he hit the truck just inside the passenger side headlight. RIP. Had to be at least 14 or 15 LEOs there when I came back about an hour later, at least 10 of them state boys.
