Scam India Company
4700 Irving Blvd Dallas TX
Strongly advise against working for this company. They advertise 50 CPM (cents per mile), but fail to inform you that they dont pay for deadhead miles and impose an escrow fee, effectively reducing the actual rate to approximately 45-46 CPM. Furthermore, if you terminate your contract, they levy a hidden $150 fee for allegedly not washing their truck.
Another significant concern is their routing practices. They frequently assign coast-to-coast routes through mountainous terrain involving multiple undisclosed drops. Crucially, each additional drop further diminishes your mileage pay. I believe this company operates deceptively; I personally refused a load with 5 drops for these reasons.
The treatment of drivers is appalling. Representatives openly disparage drivers and often hang up on them without justification. For instance, when I inquired about my paycheck, an accounting representative hung up on me. After I texted to confirm her identity, she claimed I had the wrong number – only to text me *from the same number* the very next day requesting BOLs (Bills of Lading). This behavior is profoundly unprofessional and unsettling.
Additionally, serious ethical violations exist within their operations. The shop employs workers who appear to be undocumented (lacking citizenship), subjecting them to overwork and underpayment.
The owner, Raj, has a concerning history: her previous company, **DHS (Desi Hotshots)** based in Irving, TX, was shut down due to a poor safety score. Reviews detailing issues with DHS remain accessible on Google.
Working here risks your livelihood, safety, and professional licenses, particularly given the reported dealings with foreign management based in India. The overall experience is exploitative and deeply disrespectful. Proceed with extreme caution.
