    Same issues here in the states.
    Never hand your lottery ticket to a clerk to check, until you've signed it and filled out your address, etc. in ink. This way you know for sure it's the same ticket when the clerk hands it back to you.

    Has happened here as well, have added little self scanners for people to check themselves at lotto retailers. A little barcode scanner is all it is

    Majority of clerks in USA switching winning Lottery tickets work at 7-Eleven stores.
    Lottery company was curious why so many winners with the same ethnic names were becoming rich from winning the lottery from 7-Eleven stores.
