04 Acert would be pretty easy but a 07 Acert with the DPF stuff would be harder.
The big question is why....? -
I found on here one time, there is a company that makes jumper wiring harness to change motors out, but for the life of me, I cant find the tread where it is.
-
The company is mawk industries , ed is the guys name, but don't think you will need a harness the truck side is 70 pin in bith applications, as for dpf the 07's i have do not have it that was 08 and up, if the engine has all the 120 pin wiring for the engine with it, then your turbo piping is a lil different and it will go in fairly easily, compare pin locations on truck side for both engines and bingo if they are the same on the truck side you are basically done....run a pdi stage 1 or two ecm and never look back
-
I also have to ask why you'd swap out a (presumably) good running 6NZ for that goofy ACERT technology?
The Challenger Thanks this. -

FWIW, Midwest Diesel in Mpls Mn has new NXS crate engines less ecm for sale.
also, I love my MXS now that it has been " fixed " -
What are you going to do with your 6NZ? I've got a NXS 625 with 450k miles in my 07 379, maybe a trade of some sort could be worked out? Ran 664fwhp stock (dyno'd last fall), getting 6.75mpg with Bully Dog, oil changed every 12000mi. Only repairs have been a set of intake valve actuators and a broken fuel injector wire. Turbos/injectors warranty till 500k, main components till 800k.
